Bye bye Belly Button
Sorry that I havent posted anything in awhile. I feel like we have been so busy. I think it's me though making us so busy. Ive been working on a couple of different projects. Last weekend I painted the home office. Looks so much more professional. It was a shock to Aaron when he got home since I hadnt really planned to do that. My new excuse is "the baby made me do it". Also last weekend I finished up some wedding invitations for one of my brides. Let me just say, if you arent married yet, please please invite under 100 people when you do get married. 100 invitations is alot of invitations to make. Yikes! This week I have been busy at work. My boss is out on vacation so Im in charge. I dont know if its the baby or work, but I have just been super exhausted this week. Also at night starting this week, it has been very hard to get my stomach comfortable in bed. We invested in a "Snoogle" pillow. Yes, it is actually titled Snoogle. Im supposed to be sleeping on my left side and the body pillow is supposed to help. I just feel like my stomach is in the way no matter how I lay and I just cant get comfy. Man, can you imagine how its gonna be when Im really big? Also this week I made the invitations for my sister, Amy's baby shower. October and November are looking very busy but I am looking forward to it. I am attending 4 baby showers, 2 being mine, and coordinating 2 weddings. I better rest up in September so I make it through the fall. Im sure Ill be looking like a ripe pumpkin by then too. Also this week I have been hoping to feel a little kick from baby. Nothing yet. Hopefully soon though. We are getting excited for our next appointment coming up on September 3rd. Also worked on wrapping up the registries at USA Baby and Babies-R-Us this weekend. It is so fun picking out baby stuff. It is also been a learing experience figuring out what all these gadgets are actually for. I feel like I am learning something new about baby care every day. Who knew there were so many details and so many different sizes of diapers. My stomach I feel is getting bigger this week too. It is stretching again and aches. My belly button is slowly disappearing. I hope it returns someday. I have been slacking on the tummy pics, but will try to get one up after this post. I would also like to share a picture of my ceramic piggy bank that I painted for the baby. The picture was taken with my camera phone, so the picture doesnt do it full justice. The leaf pattern is the same pattern in the nursery. Ofcourse it all has to match. ;)

Your tummy looks so cute!! It was so good to see you yesterday. You will soon feel the baby kick. I wanted to tell you when I started tending bar years ago I worked for a country and western night club. We had to wear cowboy hats every night. I was not used to it so I would run into everything with the brim of the hat. I felt that way when my belly started swelling for the first time. Are you running into things with your expanding self? I am so excited for your next visit. Keep me posted.
