This week we are now at 10 weeks and I have decided to start a blog to document the whole baby journey. I have been quite exhausted lateley so I am not sure how I have the energy right now to be doing this. I think I am using this as a tool to stay awake. This morning I had another bought of morning sickniss. Faded away by lunch. Still no fun though. I asked Aaron this morning why women have to get sick while pregnant. I mean seriosuly, who started that crazy idea. Aaron has just been amazing through all my moodiness and sickness and tiredness thus far. We'll see how much longer he can last. Im getting more excited about our next Doc appointment (July 9th). We not only get to have another ultra sound, but we also get to hear our little one's heart beat. Crazy! More proof that there is something alive inside of me. This week our baby is the size of a prune. Yes, a prune. Not very cute sounding I know. Each week, I have made it a tradition to email Aaron a picture of the size of our baby. Last week he/she was an olive. A bit cuter than a prune. I'll have to start posting that on here now too. Believe me though, you dont want to see the prune picture. My quesy stomach cant handle it. This past Saturday we painted the nursery. I am quite impressed on how it turned out. And who knew Aaron was such a fast painter. I did one wall and he was already done with three. I also hung the curtaines and laid the baby's rug in there. Did I mention, I have already purchased all the bedding and the crib! I know, Im just a bit excited about this baby. The crib is still sitting in the garage in the box. Aaron was hoping to put it together in the next couple of months, and Im hoping for more like the next couple of weeks. I keep finding myself peaking into the baby's room when I walk by. Its just going to be so amazing to soon be peaking in there and have a little baby peaking back. Wow, now I'm crying. These hormones are insane... I mentioned to Aaron last night that our baby is bound to have a job in the wedding industry. He/she has already been to 14 wedding since creation. I quess that is all for now.
